Why Carbon

The Problem With Too Much CO2

Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions are among the most significant contributors to global warming and climate change. According to IEA, global carbon dioxide emissions have reached an unprecedented peak, caused by the over-exploitation of fossil fuels and increasing worldwide industrialization.

So to ensure a liveable climate, governments have laid out carbon-neutral initiatives.

Carbon neutral is the balance between carbon emission and carbon offset, achieving near zero carbon emissions. In other words its the process where the total amount of carbon produced by an organization (e.g., fossil fuel combustion, industrial production, deforestation) is compensated by the amount of carbon removed from the atmosphere via efforts such as tree-planting or forest reserved, which is typically known as carbon offset.

This comes back to a simple concept of reducing the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere for a better climate and future.
